Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and rental of event spaces and guest rooms at “Château de Calas”, operated by the Association des Amis du Château de Calas.

Any booking implies full acceptance of these Terms.


2. Services

The website allows booking of:

  • event rooms (private or professional events)
  • guest rooms for short stays
  • additional services (breakfast, cleaning, equipment)

Photos and descriptions are non-binding.


3. Booking

A reservation becomes effective after:

  1. approval by the establishment
  2. payment of a 30% deposit

A confirmation email is sent to the customer.

The balance must be paid:

  • 30 days before the event (room rental)
  • upon arrival (guest rooms)

4. Prices

Prices are indicated in euros (€) including taxes.

The establishment may change prices at any time without affecting confirmed bookings.


5. Cancellation

By the customer

  • more than 60 days: full refund of deposit
  • between 60 and 30 days: deposit retained
  • less than 30 days: full amount due

Guest rooms:

  • free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
  • afterwards the first night is charged

By the establishment

In case of force majeure, an alternative solution or full refund will be offered.


6. Security deposit

A security deposit may be required for event rentals.

It is returned within 7 days after inspection, minus any damage costs.


7. Use of premises

The customer agrees to:

  • respect maximum capacity
  • respect neighbors and noise regulations
  • return premises in original condition

Damages will be invoiced.


8. Liability

The customer is liable for damages caused by themselves or guests.

The establishment is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
